Although we use only top-quality
materials to manufacture our products. We recommend that
you follow these simple guidelines to keep your new furniture
in top shape
Woods:
Teak - Use a teak cleaner to bring
the
wood back to its natural beauty.
Do not use oils because it will give the wood an unnatural
dark color. Also do not coat your teak wood with any
wood sealant as this will make the wood dry-up and
peel.
American Oak - You can stain your
oak if you like, however we recommend that you coat
your wood once a year with a poly urethane to keep it
looking as beautiful as the day you bought it.
Indonesian Hardwood - This takes
a bit more maintenance. We highly recommend that you
coat your bench once a year with a poly urethane to
keep your bench strong and beautiful.
Metals:
Aluminum - No extra care is needed.
Drop Forged Steel - If you don't
mind a glossy finish on your metal poly urethane is
a great way to protect your iron from rust. However
this is not required.
Cast Iron - If you don't
mind a glossy finish on your metal poly urethane is
a great way to protect your iron from rust. However
this is not required. |
